About Library

The Giristhan arts & commerce college library department established in 2005.The library plays a very vital role in the development of the college. Library provides the best of books which are essential for the development of students and the teachers. Students, teachers and non-teaching employees avail of the facility of enhancing and updating their knowledge. There is sufficient number of cupboards to accommodate books and journals. The facility of multimedia and internet is also available in the library.

Vridhhi software is library management software in our library. The software provides full support in diverse areas such as library record maintenance, books management, barcode facility, books accession, membership, circulation, OPAC and administration. The facilities like database backup facility, book reservation facility and the status of book can be easily accessed through this software. The library has more than 5000 text, reference and competitive exam books and includes 1624 number of titles. All books have been bar-coded for their quick access. The Library provides other facilities such as e-resources, internet browsing, library orientation, inter library loan facility, book bank facility, clipping and selective dissemination of information etc.
